PickPocket Small Foraging Pouches Set of 3 (20cm x 20cm)
PLEASE CHECK IF THE SIZE IS SUITABLE FOR YOUR BREED
PickPocket Foragers are fully washable/tumble dryable fleece feeders in which dogs hunt for treats inside pockets. They are simple to use, easy to launder and bring all the benefits of foraging into your dog’s home.
Back by popular demand, our highly versatile set of three mini pouches can be tucked inside other products such as the Caterpillar or Floor Forager for added enrichment to create a more challenging foraging environment. Each pouch can also be filled with treats and hidden separately for your dog to search for. Each mini pouch is 20cm x 20cm square. COLOURS MAY VARY.
PickPocket Pouch sets are suitable for dogs of all ages and most breeds including those with flat faces. They are ideal mental stimulation for dogs on post-operative care, those on restricted exercise or for dogs with reduced mobility due to arthritic conditions. Playing with the Mini Foraging set can provide these dogs with a few minutes gentle weight-bearing exercise. Foraging games are especially beneficial to senior dogs with cognitive dysfunction and ‘golden oldies’ whose other senses may be in decline and who come to rely more on olfaction. The Mini Foraging set is especially suited to visually impaired dogs who are able to use their natural foraging skills in a game that is highly rewarding, satisfying and safe. Puppies can also hugely benefit mentally and physically from nose work activities, and PickPocket Foragers can be successfully used to distract from unwanted behaviour.
Warning!
Some owners are concerned that their dog will chew the fleece, however most dogs find foraging so immensely rewarding that this instinct usually overrides their desire to bite the fabric. Please ALWAYS supervise your dog and follow the instructions for use on the packaging to minimise risk. No dog should be left alone with any of the PickPocket Forager range as ingesting fabric could lead to serious medical issues. If you have any concerns or suspect your dog has swallowed some fabric, please consult your veterinary surgeon immediately.
